One of our best dinners we’ve had in Mauritius! Benito was a great server. He recommended us a special catch of the day (Vacoa Fish with local spices) and a Tuna Salad (with huge chunks of fresh tuna)!Also loved that they have draft Dodo Beer Payment by card was possible!I would love to come back and therefore recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to have a nice, yummy dinner!

Great food, the tuna was tasted great and was perfectly cooked, and so was the fish and eggplant mauritian dish. Would repeat next time I'm in the area

If you are in the Black River district, Roots Spirits is a place you definitely must visit. Amazing ambiance and vibe! Very tasty food and even better cocktails. Friendly staff and Brandon the owner who is a real gentleman, will treat you super well. Strongly recommended. Go without any hesitation!

Absolutely loved our dinner here! Probably the best tuna I have ever tasted. The atmosphere was chilled and perfect, the waiter and staff so lovely. If you are in the area, definitely recommend!

Very good and fresh food! Romantic setting and vibe, Lovely service, very thoughtful when mentioning allergies. (Prices are more than correct.) on walking distance from Hotel La Mariposa.@the owners, the place is listed as a bar and not as restaurant om google. Therefore I didn’t find the restaurant online when I searched for ‘restaurants in the neighborhood’. When we passed by, we saw the place and visited. And came back for a second time

Local place with great food and prices. We were looking all over for a place open Christmas Eve and had a really great time! The catch of the day was fantastic.
